ඊයේ (04) දින පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ දී කරුණු දක්වමින් ජනාධිපතිවරයා මේ බව පැවසූ අතර එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් ඔහු පැවසුවේ, එම අරමුදලින් කොටසක් පිටරට ආයෝජනය කිරීමට ද අවස්ථාව දිය යුතු බවයි.
මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා,
අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන්නේ අර්ථසාධක අරමුදලත් භාරකාර අරමුදලත් දෙකම එකට එකතු කරලා ස්වාධීන මණ්ඩලයක් යටතේ ඒ වැඩකටයුතු ගෙනියන්න.
We want both ETF and EPF brought in.
The question is whether other independent funds also should come in to it.
Because that’ll be the most powerful fund in Sri Lanka.
Other is whether we should allow their money, we’re only giving it now to government.
Now investments should we allow part of that money to be invested abroad. I think we should. as the situation improves these are the savings of the people of the country. so we’ll allow it to be even invested in abroad.
